FOSS (Friends of Selsted School)

FOSS is our Parent Teacher Association and provides a valuable link between parents and the school, not only for raising funds but also socially.  Our two main events are the Christmas and Summer fairs but there are many smaller events such as quiz nights and coffee mornings as well as raffles, projects and competitions which help us to raise money to provide experiences and equipment for the children.

In 2015/16 the main focus had been on raising funds to purchase the field next to the school which we managed to achieve in 2017.  The new school field has brought much needed space for the children with the opportunity for additional events to take place, including sports day.

We regularly support the running of the school minibuses and actively work with the school to provide resources that they require.

We continue to be saving funds to assist the school in buying luxuries that the budget can't stretch to.

All parents are automatically members but past pupils, parents, staff or those who have an interest in the school can join too. We welcome any new members to the committee and look forward to seeing you all at FOSS events.
