I am pleased to welcome you to the Selsted School website.

Selsted Church of England Primary School is a school built on Christian values and a love of learning. Nurture is at the heart of all we do and we achieved Nurture UK accreditation in April 2025.  We believe that if children feel safe, loved and cared for they will thrive in their academic achievements.  Education is so much more than reading and writing and here at Selsted we work hard to develop the whole child.  We provide a balanced curriculum offering opportunities to spark individual interests in addition to trips and visitors to enhance learning.

We are proud that our children leave us as confident, well rounded individuals ready for the next chapter of their lives.

We are extremely lucky to be situated in an amazing environment and use this as much as possible to support the children’s learning, this includes Forest School and outdoor learning time.

Our school motto is: ‘From tiny acorns, mighty oaks grow within the love of God’ and we truly believe in doing everything we can to help our children grow physically, socially, emotionally and academically to be the very best versions of themselves.
