Spellings

Spellings will be set each Monday and tested the following Monday.  Please support your child with practising these.  To do this, here are some ideas....

- Read out the spelling (in a sentence) and ask them to attempt it.  Compare their spelling and the correct spelling and look for differences.

- Write the spelling incorrectly and ask them to correct it for you.

- Play hangman

- Write the letters of the spelling jumbled up and see if they can put the letters in the correct order.

 

Spelling test on Monday 10th will consist of 20 spellings picked from the previous weeks' lists.  Please practice any of the lists below.
