The Governing Board currently has vacancies for 3 Governor roles. The first is for a Parent Governor and we hope to appoint soon.
We also have a Local Authority and a Co-Opted Governor role open and would be pleased to hear from anyone in the local community or with local business who would like to join us. We are a very friendly and committed Board that welcome new members and new ideas.
The Board is also always open to having new Associate Governors that can add something to the overall skills and expertise. An Associate Governor is not required to attend meetings (unless they want to) and is not eligible to vote in Governor decisions but would be called upon by the Head and Chair as necessary. Some examples of pertinent experience might be finance, legal, data protection, safeguarding, HR or religious.
Please contact the Chair, Jen Ibbetson-Revell via the school office if you, or someone you know may be interested. It’s a good way to become involved in governance without committing a lot of time.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
